At SaskPower it's our job to deliver reliable, sustainable and cost-effective power. We provide employment to over 3,000 people and support hundreds of local businesses and industries.
We know many of our customers worry about climate change. There's also concern about how climate change will impact Saskatchewan's economy.
We’re on track to reduce our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by at least 50% below 2005 levels by 2030. And now we're working on how to make even deeper cuts to GHG emissions – like achieving net zero by 2050.
To do that, we're evaluating a range of ways to generate cleaner power. Each of these supply options has pros and cons, and there's no one single right path.
As part of this work, we want to collaborate with you. We want to hear from:
- Indigenous rightsholders
We want to know things like:
- What's important to you
- What you hope to see in our long-term strategy to power Saskatchewan
We’re going to consider your feedback as part of our planning. It’s about listening and using what we learn to make better decisions.
