Working with Us as an EET
Are you ready to make a big impact? We’re always seeking skilled EETs to fill roles across Saskatchewan. Here’s some of the work you can expect to do with us as an EET:
Engineering and Design
Become a key player on one of our engineering teams! You’ll contribute to designing new systems to expand our power grid for our customers. You’ll work on upgrades like new substations, transmission lines or distribution lines. Our engineering teams are key to providing safe and reliable power.
Testing and Commissioning
Be at the forefront of ensuring the reliability of our systems. All new system changes and additions must go through careful testing before coming online. This process is critical to making sure everything will run properly. You’ll have the chance to test large power transformers and analyze our newest systems.
System Operation
Working in our System Control Centre in Regina, you’ll play a major role in:
- balancing generation
- managing imports/exports
- controlling power flow throughout the province
You'll also work with major industrial customers, co-generation suppliers and power stations to ensure system stability during on-site maintenance. Our System Control is a 24/7 operation critical to the power grid. During challenging times such as weather events and outages, our System Operators focus on keeping power online.
