The lab supports our major CCS projects such as the Boundary Dam Carbon Capture and Storage Facility and the Shand Carbon Capture Test Facility.
At the lab, we test samples from the CCS facilities to learn about the emissions they give off. We want to be sure that our facilities are safe for all of our workers.
We’ll continue to work with leaders in carbon capture to study emissions from CCS facilities. The groups we have worked with from around the world so far include TNO from the Netherlands, TCM Mongstad in Norway and the National Carbon Capture Centre in the United States.
