  • Saskatchewan Regional Centre of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development (May 2014): award for a compilation of 2013 energy efficiency customer education initiatives, including the First Nation initiatives in Lake Athabasca, the Block Heater Timer program, and the Refrigerator Retirement program
  • Saskatchewan Regional Centre of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development (May 2015): award for the education component of the Fall Lighting Discount Program
  • Saskatchewan Regional Centre of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development (April 2016): awards for the Retail Customer Engagement Program and Business Education & Outreach Program.
  • Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (May 2017): Environmental Excellence Award for the Industrial Energy Optimization Program (IEOP).
  • Customer Experience rating in 2014 – highest score of all the electrical utilities in Canada. The industry average is 6.8 and SaskPower’s customer satisfaction score came in at 7.5

  • Ragan and PR Daily’s ACE Awards: Large Communications Team of the Year 2014
  • 2014 Summit Emerging Media Award: Leader Award, Boundary Dam CCS virtual tour
  • International Association of Business Communicators (Regina Communicator Awards): (2015-2016) Dynamite Communicator of the Year, (2014-2015) Outstanding Communications Contribution, Rising Star Communicator Award
  • International Association of Business Communicators (Canada- Silver Leaf Awards): Silver Leaf awards recognize business communication excellence in Canada. Awards were presented for the Power to Grow tour, SaskPower Safety Summit, our multi-audience, multi-year CCS communication strategy, and the event planning for the launch of the BD3 project in October 2014.
  • International Association of Business Communicators (Global – Gold Quill Awards): Gold Quill awards recognize business communication excellence globally. Awards were presented for the SaskPower strategic direction map, Power to Grow tour, SaskPower Safety Summit and SaskPower Rate Application 2014.
  • International Association of Business Communicators (2015): SaskPower Communications shortlisted as one of the top three best corporate communications teams worldwide.

  • Nipawin Oasis Community Centre award (2015): Codie Sandypoint, an apprentice electrician in Nipawin, won an award that honoured her contributions to her community
  • Project Management Institute, Regina/South Saskatchewan Chapter (2016): SaskPower was recognized as an employer and supporter of the project management profession; PMI is the world’s leading project management organization with over 450,000 members around the globe.
