Through the Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT), we sell available space on our transmission lines to allow our customers to transfer power into, through and out of the province of Saskatchewan. Our transmission lines are interconnected to Manitoba, Alberta and North Dakota.
The OATT is available to:
- Wholesale power marketers who want to transfer power into, through and out of the province
- The City of Saskatoon and the City of Swift Current who can purchase power from suppliers other than us
- Independent power producers that are interested in connecting to our transmission system to sell power to the City of Saskatoon and the City of Swift Current, or export power outside of Saskatchewan’s borders
Companies interested in purchasing available transmission space from us should examine the Open Access Transmission Tariff. This sets out the rates, terms and conditions on how we conduct business with our transmission customers.
If you’re interested in becoming an OATT customer, the first step is to complete the OATT Customer Eligibility Application.
